The Ultra Pedic starts by using an adjustable bed base with a state-of-the-art baseboard massage system. Unlike other massage systems, this is the only way to provide a massage that is deep and quiet in a unit that will last for years and years. You can even choose from 3 different massage profiles with an infinite number of intensity settings for your adjustable electric bed.
Of course, the Ultra Pedic adjustable beds also have independent head and foot movement run by a whisper quiet, low voltage motor. Our adjustable beds include heavy-duty casters, backboard brackets, wood trim skirting, hypoallergenic fabrics, and a battery backup. And every Ultra Pedic adjustable bed is hand-built in the USA.
A hybrid visco-elastic memory foam mattress tops these already exceptional adjustable beds. This superb mattress contains no springs at all, and is instead constructed from layers of premium foam. Starting with a 3" layer of high resilience foam, a 3" layer of pre-crushed foam and a 2" layer of visco-elastic memory foam are added. This unique combination of different foams gives a far better support profile than ordinary foam mattresses made from only one type of foam.

In my late 40's, I have severe Lupus, RA, Bone Degenerative Disease, Fibromyalgia, heart and renal failure. I live in chronic pain and spend 80% of my day in bed.

I have NEVER been so comfortable in my life. Very Quiet bed. Get the risers if you plan on an over-bed table. The bed has Wonderful support ALL THE WAY to they very edge. Feels like being suspended in air or water. (Almost like you're weightless.) Price was exceptionally great for a bed with everything on it!

I kept waking up startled, the first week I slept on it, because I didn't have pain and so I felt like I was falling thru the clouds. Once I got past that it was wonderful.

The sales person was very patient and helpful to me. The delivery was tracked and updated daily on its progress. The delivery was earlier than expected but was still on the same day I expected. The delivery and set up guys were polite, helpful, made sure it was set to proper height and were carefully attentive to not damage my walls, entry way and other furniture. They really stood out from other delivery companies. Pack it in...pack it out. I just hopped in bed. Fast set up also.

My son, mom, and daughter all want one. My last bed was a waterbed because a regular mattress could not accommodate my twisted body. I found this bed and I'm so happy.

Quiet motor, wall huger, more comfortable than my last bed.

When the head of the bed is raised, either the bed or the frame makes some creaking noises. My last bed had a wireless remote and this one is obviously wired.For some reason, I keep sliding to the foot of the bed. Maybe the mattress is more firm than my other bed?

Delivery was fine. Very much on time. Set up was efficient. The room was swept and all packing was removed.

Disappointed that explanation of bed-risers was not clear---or I might have purchased them as well. I purchased a hospital bed table with wheels to use with the bed, but it does not fit under the frame of the bed. Very disappointing as this was a costly and I needed it. Bed is comfortable though, massage features are effective, however, on the hardwood floors, there is a vibration throughout the whole house when I use the massage--so my family doesn't appreciate that. Would be more happy if someone would contact me back and let me purchase the risers and not charge me to come and install the risers--if this would solve my hospital table problem.

Thank you for your review. We are glad you find the bed comfortable, but we apologize for not better informing you of the riser option during your initial purchase. We hope you will consider our offer to expedite the risers to you at a significant discount. For any customer with hard floors, we recommend using rubber floor cups which will help reduce the amount of vibration transmitted. The massage function is quite powerful, however, and there will be some noise when using it at full speed on a hard floor.
